About GTÜ:
GTÜ Gesellschaft für Technische Überwachung mbH is the largest officially recognized motor vehicle inspection organization of freelance motor vehicle experts in Germany, making it one of the largest expert organizations in the world. It sees itself as a comprehensive network of experts. 2,500 self-employed and full-time experts as well as more than 2,600 test engineers and their qualified employees are available at around 10,300 test centers in garages and car dealerships as well as at more than 800 own test centers of the GTÜ contract partners. The GTÜ test engineers work in the interests of road safety and environmental protection.
GTÜ’s shareholders are the three expert associations: AGS (Arbeitsgemeinschaft der Kfz-Sachverständigen e. V.), BVS-KSV (BVS-Kraftfahrzeugsachverständigen-Verein e. V.) and BVSK (Bundesverband der freiberuflichen und unabhängigen Sachverständigen für das Kraftfahrzeugwesen e. V.).
